This project of the Music Museum of Barcelona consists in sampling the original piano of the spanish composer Isaac Albéniz in order to turn into music the information codified in old piano rolls played by Albéniz himself.
The original piano has been recorded note by note played by a professional pianist in different intensities and using several microphones in different positions. The sampler has been implemented with Kontakt software.
The old piano rolls played by Albéniz are being codified in Midi language by the musicologist Jordi Roquer.

Sonologists: Eduard Figueres & Pau Vinyoles
Pianist: Carlos Picón
